Primary roles and responsibilities include: 

• Facilitate instruction by implementing interventions and supplementary instruction that will address the identified needs of students. 
• Establish positive relationships with students. Supporting their achievement in their studies and their school day. 
• Ensure the safety and supervision of students during their time with them.
• Communicate with parents as necessary to build positive community and program relationships. 
• Work to ensure a clear line of communication between teachers, students, parents, etc so that the curriculum is aligned with the extension of the students' needs.
